WHO IS CHRIST?

How will you define Christ?

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all creation.

Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—kings, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities. Everything has been created through him and for him.

He existed before everything else began, and he holds all creation together.

Christ is the head of the church, which is his body. He is the first of all who will rise from the dead, so he is first in everything.

For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ,

and by him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of his blood on the cross.

This includes you who were once so far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions,

yet now he has brought you back as his friends. He has done this through his death on the cross in his own human body. As a result, he has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.

Faith

Things that be came from nothing

What is Faith?

“What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.”

Hebrews 11:1 NLT

…It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen...

Hope is an expectation. Hope is what one expects to happen possibly after a particular condition is fully satisfied. In the scriptures it is made clear that three things will abide after all things are gone and those three things include Faith, Hope, and Love. Hope in itself is only possible when it works alongside Faith, i.e. an individual believes in God for something to happen. The period of believing is called hopefulness.

That means both faith and love work hand-in-hand to bring God’s will to pass in the life of a man.

Faith is the assurance that one has in his or her heart that the particular thing that is been hoped for, that thing which is being expected to happen in the future, that thing which is being expected to come to pass, that event, that blessing, that achievement, that targets being expected will eventually happen. A man who has faith in God has confidently shown in his heart that nothing can stop his expectations, that is, his hope in the coming to pass of that thing will not be disappointed.

…It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see…

But because one is hopeful that what he is expecting will definitely come to pass, faith in God’s ability makes the person to do things, say things, take steps that show clearly that, Yes, he believes that what he cannot yet see is present and in existence and that those things will unveil with time.

Without faith nobody can achieve things in this life that goes beyond his or her human capability. It takes Faith to bring into existence what is considered by many as extra-ordinary and supernatural.

God, on a daily basis looks to see a man or anybody who can believe him to do things in any circumstance or environment that goes beyond human expectation; things that can be accomplished only by divine effort. Because it is when things that are accomplished only by divine effort are seen happening on the face of the Earth today, beyond the explanation of science and technology that God is glorified, and that is when the knowledge of his glory will cover the earth as the waters covers the sea.

“Have faith in God today”

Arise, Take Charge!

INTRODUCTION

Basic Scripture:

“And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion…” ESV
“Blessed them, and said, “Have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth and bring it under their control…”GNT
“And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]…” AMP

Genesis 1:28

God has said it from the beginning that the man in his image and likeness should be blessed, to be fruitful and multiply enough to subdue the earth, and to bring it under his control. God has equipped the Christian of today. Every man in whom is the new creation life – the life of Jesus Christ, is wired with potentials to take charge of the earth. The church is to be in charge of the earth, everywhere and in everything.

Every Christian is to be on the control towers of the earth; they should be at the helm of affairs. People in whom Jesus Christ lives are to be in charge and in control of every sector and division, all the components that make up the government of the land where they live. It doesn’t have to be their native land.

The Believers of Christ are the ones to rule the world from the spiritual realms out to the physical. Even when they are not the head of the organization, by virtue of their presence there, Christ himself is there with them, and is ready to establish his kingdom [his principles, life, love, excellence, knowledge etc.] in that place. Be it in business, agriculture, security, manufacturing industries, fashion and entertainment industries, banking and all that has to do with a society’s economy and religion.”
At the creation of man, God had a purpose at heart. But the possibility and fulfillment of that purpose was kept in the nature man would possess. God, therefore, decided to make human beings to be like himself, resembling him in his spiritual existence. He is holy, perfect, without sin. This was so that the man could fulfill God’s agenda upon the other creatures, in tending the garden and maintaining the others, just as He – God so desired.

Being made like him (Gen. 1:26-27), man was placed above other creatures. Being blessed by God (Gen. 1:28), he was equipped and commanded to have many children, so that his descendants will live and fill all over the earth, and to bring it under their control. By this command, God was asking human beings to make all the components of the earth subject to their control. Unfortunately, the man fell from their spiritual status in God (Gen. 3), and lost their wholesome mind by which they could have actually brought the earth under their control, according to God’s expected desire (Rom. 3:23).
